  1. Michael Keppler says:

    Does this mean there is still development behind ADT? I was of the impression it is officially dead, and all further IDE related improvements happen only on Android Studio.

  2. Lars Vogel says:

    AFAIK the ADT team plans to continue its support for the Eclipse tooling as well as its tooling support for IntelliJ.

  3. WonderCsabo says:

    I hope ADT will not be abandoned. I love Eclipse and i do not want be forced to use IntelliJ. From my experience, ADT is now in a “maintained” state, so it gets only the most needed updates (like support for Java 7 Android code), but not any new innovative things. It would be a good thing if we could get an official information about the future of ADT.

    I am extremely impressed with your writing skills
    and also with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?

    Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare
    to see a nice blog like this one nowadays.

  5. Lars Vogel says:

    malindacorreia, the blog is based on WordPress and the website uses a custom design.

  6. Paul Verest says:

    @Michael Keppler
    ADT 23.0 is released about few weeks ago and comes with Android TV and Wear support.
